My name is Daniel Cantillo, a proud father blessed with four beautiful children. I was raised with immense love, especially from my mother—my greatest supporter and my rock. She always protected me, perhaps too much, which left me unprepared for the harsh realities of life.

Everything changed in March 2016 when my mother was diagnosed with stage 3 dementia. The woman who had always been my pillar of strength gradually became completely dependent on me. It felt like I had been abandoned in a world full of challenges and temptations, and I wasn’t ready to stand alone. In my struggle, I fell into destructive habits—alcohol addiction consumed me.

But God had a plan.

As my mother’s condition worsened, her reliance on me grew. And in a way only God could orchestrate, her dependence unknowingly forced me to become disciplined. I had no choice but to rise above my struggles and become the man I was meant to be. My mother, even in her most vulnerable state, still guided me with God’s help.

In caring for her, I realized she needed to stay active, and since she loved fruits, I started a small garden with cucumbers and tomatoes. What happened next was nothing short of a revelation—the abundant harvest from just two plants opened my eyes to one of the greatest investments I had ever seen.
